Thirteen Reasons Why

She recorded her voice on these tapes and sent them out to people on a list.

Hannah Baker killed herself a few days after making some tapes. What did these tapes contain? These tapes contain some footage of her voice telling the people that receive these tapes what they had to do with her death. There are thirteen people that have something to do with Hannah Baker death.
Clay Jensen, the main character in this book has something to do with it too. According to Hannah it was a good thing. She also makes it seem like it is a good thing. The other eleven people didn’t exactly do anything to help her out. Clay could of if he would have known the signs.
When he realizes that his friend was keeping track of who had the tapes it was a little harder on him because his friend already knew when he was going to get them and what he had to do with it even though Clay hadn’t even gotten to the tape where it he has to do anything with him.
The tapes start in order from how she got her first kiss to the rumors to what actually happened and how her life ended. She doesn’t tell anyone what she was going to do and in fact the loss is harder on every one who got the tapes than it was on her to do this to herself. It was harder on every one because knowing that they had something to do with it is going to haunt them for the rest of their life. Just knowing you could have done something to stop someone and save a life, save a family from getting hurt from this but you didn’t because you didn’t want to pay attention to what she had to say, her side of the story, the truth may just be a horrible feeling you’ll have for the rest of your life.
How does this book end? What happens to the characters after they receive the tapes? How do they see the other people that had something to do with this? You’ll just have to read the book and find out.

The End

Clay Jensen wants to know why he is on these tapes and when he comes across number nine he finds out that he didn’t do anything wrong. In fact it was something that Hannah wanted to happen. What is it that Clay did?
He went to a party and as it turns out Hannah was there too. They start talking to each other and as it turns out they end up kissing. Something Clay really wanted to happen because she had a crush on her as he calls it but it really seems like he was in love with her already. They go in to a room and continue to talk and kiss. Nothing bad happened.
When something bad was about to happen Clay stopped and so did everything else. Hannah started to cry. I guess Clay didn’t really know what to do so he left her there to cry while he left the room and he left the party.
Hannah says that was a good thing and that she doesn't really know why Clay is on these tapes. I guess she just wanted to thank him in a way.
About the tapes, well they needed to be passing around these tapes and if they didn’t pass them and for some reason some one stayed with the tapes a second box would be issued with the same tapes. The only difference that there would be with the second box is that it would be played in public and every one would know about what happened and the secrets of everyone she had been keeping secrets for.
What I thought was really interesting was that on the last tape was the story of how she planned to kill herself and why she did it. She overdosed on pills. Before she did she said that she hoped the second box wouldn't have to be sent out and played in public.

I actually chose to do the book Thirteen Reasons Why because it is a good book. I think that you should read it and take your time so you could enjoy the book. I hope that they find a way and make a sequel to this book
I think Hannah Baker should have given herself a second chance and not take her life just like that.  She should have told the people how she felt before doing any of these things. She could have made something out of her life. Instead of taking her own life she could have helped other people that thought of taking their lives. Ashe could look at other people and search for the signs of that.

Hannah Baker

This is Hannah Baker
Hannah Baker is a miraculous young girl with a good family. She moved into this small town where she now lives a few years ago. Her parents own a small store in the town. She loves to go buy some candy and a few snacks at a small store that rarely anyone knows is there.  She doesn't have any if little friends. She is a good girl who has many problems. She didn't like the fact that her parents wanted her to move. She did move and even though she is new to this school there are already many rumors about her.

Introduction

This is the cover of one of the versions of the book.
Thirteen Reasons Why is about this wonderful girl named Hannah Baker. She took her life and made thirteen tapes. Those thirteen tapes have a person in specific in each one and tells why that person was being blamed for Hannah taking her life. When Clay Jensen gets these tapes he doesn't think he ever did anything to hurt Hannah at all. He’s about to find out what he did and why he is being blamed for her suicide. When he finishes with these tapes he realizes that it wasn't only him that did something but he and his friends could have done something to prevent her from taking her life. Now the question is was it something good or was it something bad that Clay did to her in order for her to take her life. You’ll just have to read the book to find out.
I choose this book because I really liked it. It may of taken me some time to read but in the end it was worth it. It is an interesting book on Clay Jensen finding out what he had to do with Hannah taking her life. It really is a mystery in finding out what Clay and many other if his classmates had to do with the death of this girl.
